We hit the water to explore the Intracoastal, and we’ll be uncovering some of the most amazing condos that offer boat-friendly accommodations.
Setting Sail for Marina Point Condominiums
First on our list is Marina Point Condominiums: A Boater’s Dream Come True. These condominium buildings are located on a peninsula right on the Intracoastal here in Daytona Beach, so you’ll be surrounded by water on three sides. This condo community is gated to give you just a little bit of added safety and security. Marina Point offers a lot of great amenities, but the one that stands out is obviously the boat slips. They actually offer these slips free of charge on a first come first served basis, which is absolutely amazing. As long as your boat is 40 feet or less, you can dock here! And they also offer free mooring if you need it. Some of the other amenities here at Marina Point include a community pool, assigned parking, and laundry within your unit. And don’t worry, if you have furry friends, Marina Point allows for two pets up to 20 pounds per pet, so you can bring them on all of your boating adventures. You’ll also be close to everything happening down on Beach Street as well as the delicious Chart House! And don’t forget you’re just a quick drive over the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge to the World’s Most Famous Beach.
Cruising to Riverhouse Condos
Directly to the South of Marina Point is the Riverhouse Condos: A Waterfront Oasis. The Riverhouse Condos are located just off of South Beach Street in Daytona Beach, putting you right in the middle of the action for all the events happening there, the Saturday farmer’s market at City Island, and all the Tortuga’s baseball games. Riverhouse also offers free boat docks for residents, and they are also on a first come, first served basis. You’ll also get on-site storage, a heated community pool, clubhouse, fitness center, and laundry in each building of the complex. You can also have one pet here at Riverwalk as long as they are 25 pounds or less. This is a great little place that has consistently been one of the more affordable condo options on the Intracoastal!
Venturing to New Smyrna Beach
Are you guys ready to head South? Come on because we’re heading to New Smyrna Beach: Your Gateway to Waterfront Living. Our first stop in New Smyrna is one of the newest condo developments in town, Riverwalk Condominiums. Located just off the North Causeway, you’ll have easy access to the waterways. There are several buildings here, and this is also a gated community with plenty of amenities. But since we’re talking boats, let’s start there. Once everything has been completed, there are going to be a total of 96 docks for private usage. These boat slips will be sold to each individual owner, and the slips are best suited for bay boats, small deck boats, and bow riders due to the draft needed to safely navigate to and from your slip. Other amenities here at Riverwalk include a beautiful heated community pool, fitness center, clubhouse, private theater room, BBQ area, tennis and pickleball courts, as well as shuffleboard and bocce ball courts. You’ll be a short ride away from Canal Street or Flagler Avenue, so you can participate in New Smyrna’s lively art and festival scene.
Condos for boat owners 55+
Next on our New Smyrna list is a condominium for those of you boaters who may be 55 years young or better. I’m talking about Captain’s Quarters Condominiums: A Boater’s Paradise for Active Adults. This condo building offers private boat docks as well as deep water boat access for those of you with larger vessels. You can access the Intracoastal simply by undocking and heading East. Then it’s anywhere you want to go! Some of the other amenities here include a community pool, extra storage areas, and pets are allowed here; you’re just restricted to one. I love this location because you’re a short walk, bike, or golf cart ride to the nearby Riverside Park, Canal Street, the bait and tackle store, and the popular River Deck!
Arriving at Harbour Village in Ponce Inlet
Are y’all ready for the last condo on our list? Let’s pull anchor one more time and navigate over to Ponce Inlet to take a look at Harbour Village: Where Waterfront Living Meets Luxury. This is definitely one of my favorite condos in the area and for a lot of reasons. The biggest amenity is their 142 boat slip marina where residents can own or lease a slip. And the location makes this condo the closest to things to do on your boat like Disappearing Island or heading out to the inlet for some deep-sea fishing. As an added bonus, if you do happen to have a sailboat, there are no bridges to navigate between the marina and the inlet itself. Harbour Village is a huge gated community featuring condos and villas to suit your needs. They also have some of the best amenities around with several pools, fitness facilities, amazing parking options, and their very own beach club for residents only. They also have a 9-hole, par 3 golf course on location, tennis courts, and saunas. I’m sure you can see why it’s one of my favorites!
